We say a proper farewell to you today Doc, tragically taken far too soon. You were a rare example of the finest of humanity: kind, generous, insightful and knowledgeable and always an inspiration. I will miss chewing the cud in the afternoon over vats of tea when we were in the office and then on Skype when we were no longer office bound. We are all lucky to have known and worked with you over the years.
